Why I Started Tipsy Sips Craft Cocktails

Hi, I’m Morgan, and I’ve spent most of my life behind a bar—long before I ever realized it would lead me here.

My Mother and her husband owned a pub when I was a kid, so hospitality wasn’t just something I learned later—it was something I grew up around. The sounds, the energy, the way food and drinks bring people together—it all stuck with me.

By the time I was 14, I started my first restaurant job. From there, I spent over 25 years bartending and managing, on and off, learning the industry from every angle. Fast-paced nights, slow shifts, packed bars, intimate events—I’ve done it all.

Falling in Love With Mixology (and the Science Behind It)

About five years ago, I took a small mixology course to tighten up my skills and learn the basics. That course changed everything.

What started as a simple refresher turned into a passion for craft cocktails, flavor balance, infusion techniques, and the chemistry that makes a cocktail actually work. I became the person who constantly experiments, studies, and tweaks recipes—not just to make something good, but to make it right.

Over the years, I’ve created signature craft cocktail menus for restaurants, designed custom cocktails for weddings, and even ran my own mobile bar business, bringing elevated cocktails to events where details matter.

Why I Created Tipsy Sips Craft Cocktails

I love bartending. I love creating drinks.

But I wanted a change from the traditional bar industry—without giving up the creativity.
